What a blessing these past weeks have been! I am nearing the end of this trip in Tijuana, Mexico and will be heading home for the holidays!
I have has so many wonderful opportunities to serve while I have been here this past month, Caravan has hosted 3 groups, build a total of 9 houses for families here in Tijuana, we hosted a Thanksgiving dinner serving over 75 people and we were able to serve at a local orphanage on thanksgiving as well.
I am still in the process of support raising, which has been more difficult than I was anticipating. I have been able to pay for about 60% of these mission trips out of pocket and I am so grateful God has provided the money for me to do that this far. I am talking with a few churches in hopes of them being able to partner with me in that way, as well as I would love for my home church to be more involved and aware of my mission work in general.
I am so excited to officially say that I am going to Greece next to volunteer for an organization out there! Damaris is a Christian organization that operates two safe houses and offers a long-term recovery program for women and their children who are at high risk or have been sex trafficked. I will be there for the month of February and am so excited as I am planning that trip out more
How you can be praying for me:
Going home for the holidays - I have always had a hard time around the holidays, as well as I have a hard time coming home from mission trips, so those two combined will be difficult for me. Prayers for me to just stay present and continue to press into the true meaning of Christmas, which is the Good News of Jesus.
Support raising - prayers that individuals and families are led to partner with me in my work of supporting Ministries cross-culturally. I love that the Lord is using me in such an amazing way to expand His kingdom, so prayers for the funds to come in to help me be able to do so.
Planning for Greece - prayers for peace and discernment as I am planning out this trip, as well as preparing spiritually for the work there. This will be a very sobering trip working with such young and vulnerable people who have gone through so much. I pray I will be able to share the love of Christ just by being a light in the short time that I am there.
If you would like to learn more about my role at Mexico Caravan Ministries, or for more information about partnering with me financially, you can follow this link.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and support in the work God has called me to do. I wouldnt be able to do what I am without you helping send me, I am so grateful.
Merry Christmas!
