Build Day - Tijuana, Mexico

This past Wednesday I had such a beautiful opportunity to serve alongside Hinson Baptist Church and Mexico Caravan Ministries. Getting to join with this amazing team to build a home for a family here in Tijuana, Mexico, was such a blessing. It was so incredible to be a part of a group working together as the Body of Christ. During the start of the build, I noticed some neiborhood kids watching as we unloaded the truck. Using the extremely basic spanish I know, I told them that I loved their dogs, they then invited me to come to their house and play with them. They showed me their slide they put together using a dirt hill and an old mattress to slide on - they are so creative! I later then had to get back to work, but I invited them to come join the team when we started painting the house and they did! They absolutely loved being involved with the build, and it was so cool to see our whole team doing so well interacting and encouraging the kiddos! Seeing the Lord work throughout this day, even using the smallest of details like me just saying how I loved their dogs, is such an encouragement and blessing. All Glory to God!
